Mariko Esumi

After graduating from Nihon University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, she worked at an animal hospital in Kanagawa Prefecture. While working as a clinician, she trained in dermatology as a Type II resident at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Animal Medical Center. After two years as a Type I resident, she obtained certification from the Japanese Society of Veterinary Dermatology and joined Vet Derm Tokyo as a dermatologist. Since 2020 she has been engaged in dermatology at animal hospitals nationwide and currently serves as a part-time lecturer at Nihon University College of Bioresource Sciences, Department of Veterinary Medicine. She conducts skin care and dermatology seminars for veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and groomers, and is also knowledgeable in human cosmetics and skin care, serving as a certified instructor of the Japan Cosmetic Association.
